Are you ready to take your slackline skills to new heights—literally?
Whether you want to face your fear of heights, learn standing up on a highline and take your first steps, or learn how to rig slacklines safely, this 6-day workshop offers the adventure of a lifetime.

Under the expert guidance of Samuel Volery, one of the world’s most experienced highliners, you’ll train in the stunning valley of Gadmen, near the Sustenpass. Over the course, you’ll walk, fall, rig, and discover everything it takes to become a confident highliner.

What You’ll Experience in the Highline Course

• Set up 3 highlines (25–60m long, 60m high) together with the group
• Unlimited time to try walking, falling, and getting comfortable on the line
• Learn safe highline rigging techniques between trees and rocks
• Try your first freestyle tricks 🤸 (which also helps to overcome your fears of height)
• Learn to Leashfall safely and climb up the leash again
• Enjoy breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps 🏔️

Included in the Course:

• ✅ Full participation in the course
• ✅ All necessary highline equipment (except personal harness)
• ✅ 3x breakfast and 3x dinner
• ✅ Accommodation in the group house (bring sleeping bag & bed sheet – optionally you can also sleep in your van)

Workshop Requirements

You should be in decent shape (e.g. do at least 1 pullup or climb 5c).

It is simply more fun on the highline if you already have some stable basics on the ground. But you are also welcome to participate if you’re not yet there.

We recommend that you learn how to

• Walk a a few stops on a 15m long slackline with 2m sag

• Mantle Mount
• Sit Mount (or Chongo-Mount or Knee-Drop-Mount) on a slackline with about 2m sag

Having a strong and clean mantle mount will allow you to do many tries on the highline! If you do not yet have a clean mantle mount you will be exhausted after only a few leash falls.

Extra preparation tips:

• Practice how to start and stop a surf on a rodeoline

What to Bring to the Highline Course

• Weatherproof clothing
• Personal harness
• Sleeping bag & bed sheet (or a van)
• Lunch & Snacks (shop beforehand—we’re in a remote location.)

If you have:

• Safety sling + carabiner
• HangOver (Rolling device)

Optional but potentially useful:

• Protective gear (gloves, cup, barefoot shoes (skinners), bike pants)
